This store was started by Tom Eurich in the early 1960's. He owned a furniture store on Michigan Ave so this little general store was next door. He was a collector of antiques and vintage items so he wanted to open an old time general store similar to what he had frequented while growing up. The store also contained an 1890's era post office from Elwell MI. I am not sure how long the store lasted but the mentions in the newspapers end in the early 60's. I can't say if the building still stands because I don't have an exterior photo to compare.
